RAX Maintenance

Each RAX is hand finished with a fine satin wax that leaves a beautifully rich, soft satin luster while providing an additional level of protection and water resistance. Go ahead and drip water on it and you will see it bead up. If you want to revitalize the finish, periodically apply WATCO Satin Wax. Just follow the directions on the can. It is easy and fast to use. You can also use a spray furniture polish, but it doesn't net quite the same results. It is not recommended to refinish your RAX with a polyurethane or polyacrylic. These products are not 100% compatible with the wax finish or the tannic acid naturally found in cedar.
